About Me
I'm a Software Engineer at IBM ISDL focused on cloud-native infrastructure,
Kubernetes, OpenShift, and backend systems.
I primarily work with Golang and Kubernetes to build production-grade
controllers, infrastructure automation, and lifecycle management solutions. My
current work includes Kubernetes controllers, reconciliation-based automation,
credential lifecycle management, OpenShift Virtualization, Hosted Control Plane
(HCP), and infrastructure troubleshooting.
I also work on tooling and frameworks that improve supportability and
diagnostics across cloud-native infrastructure environments, including log
collection and end-user support bundle generation.
Previously, I worked on cloud-native platforms integrating Kubernetes, AWS,
Python, FastAPI, and backend services.
I'm particularly interested in Kubernetes, distributed systems, cloud
infrastructure, HCI, storage, virtualization, and open-source technologies.
Work Experience
-
Designed and implemented a Kubernetes controller in Golang using
controller-runtime for policy-driven hardware credential
rotation, implementing reconciliation logic based on
configurations defined through Kubernetes ConfigMaps.
-
Managed the secure credential lifecycle using Kubernetes
Secrets, synchronizing rotated SSH keys and certificates with
underlying compute nodes while ensuring reliable state
reconciliation and infrastructure automation.
-
Designed and implemented a log collection framework for
OpenShift Virtualization and Hosted Control Plane (HCP)
environments to collect diagnostic data and generate end-user
support bundles for troubleshooting and issue resolution.
-
Worked hands-on with OpenShift Virtualization, including Virtual
Machine (VM) provisioning, lifecycle management, configuration,
and troubleshooting across Kubernetes-native virtualization
environments.
-
Worked with OpenShift Hosted Control Plane (HCP) environments,
gaining hands-on experience with hosted cluster architecture,
control-plane components, and infrastructure interactions.
-
Recognized as a Docker Captain by Docker Inc. for significant
contributions to the Docker community.
-
Developed a scalable cloud native platform using Python and
FastAPI, focusing on cost efficiency, high performance, and
seamless scalability to meet diverse business needs.
-
Integrated Kubernetes and AWS services using Cluster API and
Boto3, respectively, to build a robust cloud infrastructure that
improves system scalability, resource management, and
operational stability.
-
Built a user-friendly CLI client that provides a command-line
interface for accessing and managing platform resources,
simplifying complex administrative tasks, and improving
operational efficiency for end-users.
-
Managed containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes,
enabling multi-architecture support and ensuring high
availability in dynamic, resource-efficient environments.
-
Developed monitoring and alerting systems with Prometheus and
Grafana, providing real-time insight into system performance,
costs, and operational health for proactive issue resolution.
-
Automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to streamline
multi-architecture Docker image builds and deployments, boosting
development efficiency.
- Customized and integrated open source technologies to meet
specific platform needs, delivering high-quality, tailored
solutions that align with business goals.
